Poppy Lennox

Multi Disciplinary Artist

Poppy Lennox explores ideas around connectivity, focusing especially on the importance of our relationship with nature and the ways in which we seek patterns and repetition as a way of understanding our existence.

Working in wood with the layering and revealing of paint and incisive, repetitive, often geometric stitched marks of thread, she looks to the structures within the cosmos and nature’s intricate systems and patterns as a means to make visible the interconnectivity of life.

Geo-Play

This interactive giant geoboard invites viewers to sit and experiment with creating diverse shapes and patterns using colourful rubber bands of various sizes, stored in the containers at each corner.

To participate, simply take a rubber band and stretch it across the pegs in any configuration you wish—whether forming a square, triangle, or a more abstract design. Your creation may overlap and intertwine with those of previous visitors, gradually building a vibrant web of interconnected shapes and colours.
